Colorado East Bank & Trust was chartered in 1905 as First National Bank of Holly. From 1905 to 1994 the bank has been proudly lead by three family owners, the Thatcher Family from Pueblo (1905 – 1916), the Chandler Family from Wichita ( 1917 – 1947) and the McKeever Family from Holly ( 1947 – 1994 ).
Since 1994 Colorado East Bank & Trust has been locally owned and grown from two branches with assets of $27 million to today, a Bank of with nineteen locations in Colorado and Kansas with over $800 million in total banking assets.
Our growth and success has been achieved through planned strategy of purchase and mergers of banks strategically placed throughout Eastern Colorado, Western Kansas and the Central Mountain and Front Range Regions of Colorado . These acquisitions and several well located denovo branches account for approximately 50% of our overall growth while the remaining 50% has resulted from retail growth.
