Agency History The agency was founded in 1918 as the McKeever Agency in Holly and Granada Colorado. In 1995 it was acquired by Colorado East Bank & Trust and renamed Colorado East Insurance, Inc. In 2001 it merged with The Ag Insurance Store, Inc. d.b.a. Anderson Insurance Agency of Lamar, CO, and in 2002 it acquired Art Johnston, Inc. of Fort Morgan, CO, an agency founded in 1948 with an outstanding reputation. The agency today has a long and rich history that will make a client-focused agency of tomorrow. As a result of Colorado East's strong customer-focused orientation to sales, the growth to 1,150 households will be achieved by the end of this year.
